About Us

Built around professional standards, from day one

Bordon Security Ltd is a newly established UK security company. We do not have decades of history to point to, so we have focused on getting the fundamentals right: proper licensing, clear planning and honest communication.

A Bordon Security supervisor briefs a small team of officers around a table, with a site plan on the wall behind.

Who we are

Bordon Security Ltd is a UK-registered security company (company number 17115852) based in London, United Kingdom. We are new to the market, and we think it is important to say that plainly rather than dress it up. What we bring instead of a long trading history is a clear focus on how a security assignment should actually be run: properly licensed officers where the role requires it, instructions written for the specific site, and a management team that stays involved once people and equipment are deployed.

We work with businesses, developers, retailers, event organisers and corporate occupiers who need a security presence they can rely on and communicate with easily. Whether that is a single guard at a site entrance, a reception team or security for a one-off event, our approach starts with understanding your premises before we propose anything.

Mission

To provide UK businesses and organisations with security that is properly planned, professionally delivered and honestly communicated, so that clients always know what they are getting and why.

Our approach

  • Prepared

We listen, look at the site and write clear instructions before anyone is deployed.

  • Present

Briefed people, on time, who understand what your site needs.

  • Professional

Calm, polite and proportionate in everything we do.

  • Plain speaking

Straightforward proposals and reports, and honest answers if something goes wrong.

Every assignment begins with understanding the site: its layout, access points, operating hours and the concerns that prompted the enquiry. We then develop site-specific assignment instructions covering access procedures, patrol patterns, reporting lines and incident escalation, and review them as a site or its risks change.

Direct and partner-supported delivery

Our guarding services are delivered by Bordon Security personnel. At present we do not offer CCTV, alarm, keyholding, mobile patrol or other technology services. If a site ever needs support from a specialist partner, Bordon Security remains your point of contact for the service agreed with you, and we explain the proposed arrangement before any commitment is made.

Services are subject to assessment, availability and agreed scope. Where appropriate, Bordon Security may coordinate delivery with suitably qualified service partners. Bordon Security remains your point of contact for the service agreed with you.

Professional standards

Individuals carrying out licensable security roles must hold the appropriate Security Industry Authority (SIA) licence, and guarding duties are delivered by appropriately SIA-licensed personnel where the role requires it. We carry out vetting and right-to-work checks before deployment, and officers work to written assignment instructions and respond proportionately to any situation.

Bordon Security Ltd is not currently an SIA Approved Contractor, and no ISO certification has been achieved. ISO 9001, ISO 27001 and ISO 45001 are planned objectives, and we will only describe a certification as held once it has formally been issued. Read more on our Standards and Compliance page.

Responsible growth

We intend to grow carefully, taking on work we can deliver properly rather than overpromising. That means being honest about availability and location, saying so when a requirement is not a good fit, and adding services and accreditations as they genuinely become true, not before.

Our core values

Integrity

We do what we say we will do, and we are straightforward about what we can and cannot offer.

Accountability

Every assignment has a named point of contact and a clear reporting line, so nothing is left to chance.

Professionalism

From uniform standards to how an officer handles a difficult situation, presentation and conduct matter.

Proportionality

We respond to situations calmly and appropriately, never escalating beyond what a situation requires.
