Frequently asked questions

How quickly will you respond to my quote request?

We aim to respond during office hours as quickly as we reasonably can. Response times depend on the complexity of your requirement and current demand, so we do not promise a fixed turnaround, but we will keep you updated.

Do I need to know exactly how many officers I need?

No. If you are not sure, tell us about your site and requirements and we will recommend a suitable level of coverage as part of the assessment and proposal process.

Are your officers SIA licensed?

Guarding duties are delivered by appropriately SIA-licensed personnel where the role requires it. Technology services are delivered by suitably qualified people, and the licensing position for your requirement is explained in your proposal.

Is Bordon Security an SIA Approved Contractor?

Bordon Security Ltd is a newly established company. We have not claimed SIA Approved Contractor Scheme (ACS) status and will only state this if and when it is formally achieved. Individual officers deployed to licensable roles hold the relevant SIA licence for that role.

Do you deliver every service yourselves?

Depending on the location, technical requirements and availability, a service may be delivered directly by Bordon Security or coordinated with a suitably qualified specialist partner. We explain the proposed arrangement before any commitment is made, and Bordon Security remains your point of contact.

Can you provide a quotation without a site visit?

For some straightforward requirements we can provide an indicative proposal from a detailed description of your site. For most assignments, we recommend a site visit or a review of site plans so that our proposal accurately reflects your risks and operating requirements.
