Mobile and Response Services

Keyholding

A keyholder is the person who can open and secure your premises when you cannot. Professional keyholding means your keys are held securely and recorded, and there is a clear process when they are needed.

What it is

Keyholding involves holding a set of keys to your premises, keeping them securely and recording every issue and return. When needed, for example after an alarm activation or an out-of-hours incident, the keyholder attends, opens and secures the premises and reports to you.

Licensing and site requirements

Keyholding and attendance are delivered by appropriately vetted personnel, holding the SIA licence where the activity requires it. Availability depends on location, and the service may be delivered directly or coordinated with a suitably qualified partner.

Services are subject to assessment, availability and agreed scope. Where appropriate, Bordon Security may coordinate delivery with suitably qualified service partners. Bordon Security remains your point of contact for the service agreed with you.
