Mobile Patrols
Not every site needs an officer on duty all the time. Mobile patrols offer a proportionate alternative, with an officer visiting your premises at agreed times to check, secure and report.
What it is
A mobile patrol officer travels between locations in a marked or unmarked vehicle, carrying out agreed checks at each: external and internal inspections, doors, gates, lights and alarm panels. Each visit is recorded, and anything unusual is reported using the escalation route agreed with you.
How this service is delivered
Delivered directly or with a specialist partner
Depending on the location, technical requirements and availability, this service may be delivered directly by Bordon Security or coordinated with a suitably qualified specialist partner. The proposed delivery arrangement will be explained before any commitment is made.

Typical duties and scope
- Visiting the premises at agreed or varied times

- Recording each visit, with times and observations
- Reporting damage, hazards or suspicious activity as agreed
- Contacting the keyholder, site contact or emergency services where appropriate
How the service is tailored
The number, timing and pattern of visits depend on your site, its risks and your insurer's expectations. Visits can be scheduled or varied, and the checklist for each site is agreed with you in advance. Coverage depends on the location and on patrol availability in your area.
Licensing and site requirements
Officers carrying out licensable patrol and guarding duties hold the appropriate SIA licence. Where patrol cover is coordinated with a suitably qualified partner, we confirm the arrangement and the partner's licensing position in your proposal.
Services are subject to assessment, availability and agreed scope. Where appropriate, Bordon Security may coordinate delivery with suitably qualified service partners. Bordon Security remains your point of contact for the service agreed with you.
